At Americano Coffee Lounge our goal is to get back to the roots of what a Barista originally was: to serve the highest quality coffee drinks and cocktails. Americano Coffee Lounge was named after the mash up of American and European culture in the 1930’s during World War II. This time period birthed a new culture of cafes, coffee, bars, and cocktails. Our hope is to revisit this time with exceptional drinks, in a posh, lounge style environment.
Founded by Cody Pellerin, a former, signed musician who spent 345 days a year on the road for over a decade, visiting coffee shops and bars in every city of the United States, as well as across Canada, Europe, Australia, and the Latin world. His personal search for exceptional, classic, European coffee and cocktails culminated with the conceptualization of Americano Coffee Lounge.

Wedgewood Houston (or WeHo) has been called a lot of things: revitalized, trendy, up and coming, a work in progress – but one thing it’s never been called is dull. In fact, we’re just as excited about opening our doors in Houston Station and joining the existing cadre of cool bars, restaurants, and coffee shops near Wedgewood-Houston as we are about meeting our diverse neighbors: distillers, brewers, artists, musicians, all manner of creative souls putting WeHo on the map.
